Crochet Wattle Stitch Washcloth – Free Pattern

Facebook0Tweet0Pin0

This crochet wattle stitch washcloth is part of a washcloth set called the Sampler Stitch Washcloth Collection. Each washcloth uses a different stitch, but they all pair really well together. You can find the other washcloth patterns HERE.

The Wattle Stitch has a really dense texture which makes it perfect for washcloths. Out of the entire collection, this one has the more delicate and almost lacey look. But at the same time, I think it is still equally modern.

I feel like this stitch is similar to the lemon peel stitch and the suzette in that is uses a combination of single and double crochets (and chains) to create the texture. But I have noticed that is does not get used as much as those other stitches.

So I thought this would be the perfect addition to the collection! The stitch may seem a little intimidating at first, but once you get past the first couple of rows, it is super easy and mindless.

The free pattern is below and as always the ad-free PDF can be found in my Etsy shop!
