This easy crochet summer top is a free crochet pattern! The Summer Eyelet top is the ideal versatile sweater for summer. The eyelets make this top breezy and it has incredible drape, making this top very flattering to wear. This sweater can easily be dressed down with shorts and sandals or dressed up with a skirt and heels.

This design might be one of my favorites for this summer. While I never publish a design that I don’t love, I have learned that some designs are just more fun to crochet than others. This is one of those that was really fun to make.
This easy crochet summer top requires zero shaping, which makes this top a great mindless project and it surprisingly works up really quickly! I was almost sad that this project was finished when I had woven in the last end (that never happens!)

This is eyelet sweater is a great summer staple. I love that on chiller days it can be worn more casual with shorts and sandals. But it can equally be dressed up with a skirt and some heels for an event. It’s a win-win!

Despite being quarter-length sleeves and crocheted, this top is still great for summer since it’s incredibly breezy and lightweight. The eyelets make the sweater very breathable, but what really makes this great for warmer weather is the yarn!
I used Lion Brand Truboo and it has become one of my favorite yarns for summer. In my short time of crochet designing I have learned that not all yarns are great for garments, some yarns just don’t have the drape that is needed for a garment. But this yarn is perfect! It has incredible drape which makes this easy crochet summer top both flattering and comfortable to wear.
