I am just going to put it out there that I love the Cobblestone stitch. While I appreciate how simple it is to crochet, but I adore the little bobbles that are created with this stitch. With so a deep love for this stitch, I designed a couple of designs using this stitch pattern, so I wanted to do a little video tutorial to show you how to do this stitch.

How to Crochet the Cobblestone Stitch
Stitches Used:
Ch: Chain
Sl st: Slip stitch
Sc: Single Crochet
Tr: Triple/treble crochet
Pattern:
Ch an even number + 1 ch for the turning ch (ex: ch 18+1)
Row 1: 1 sc in 2nd ch from hook, 1 sc in every ch across. Ch 1, turn.
Row 2: *1 tr in first st, 1 sc in next st* repeat to end of row. Ch 1, turn.
Row 3: 1 sc in every st. Ch 1, turn.
Row 4: *1 sc in first st, 1 tr in next st* repeat to end of row. Work 1 sl st into last st with the tr (this sl st DOES NOT count as a stitch. It acts as a closure to create the bobble). Ch 1, turn.
Row 5: 1 sc in every st. Ch 1, turn.
Repeat rows 2-5
