Are you ready to try the dreamiest yarn? Hobbii’s Alpaca Silk is a gorgeous sport weight yarn that is a delight to work with. This yarn review is in partnership with Hobbit. They sent me this yarn to review and all opinions are my own.

My Thoughts
As I was browsing the Hobbit website, the Alpaca Silk yarn instantly caught my attention. I have never worked with a silk blend before, and if you know me, I am always up for trying something new! This yarn comes in so many beautiful colors, but I chose Daker Dust which is a natural beige color (always a go-to for me!). As soon as I opened the package all I could do was admire how soft and dreamy this yarn is! Alpaca Silk has a little bit of halo fuzz on it, which adds to its undeniable softness.
I immediately had to cast on the yarn and start a new project. I have been itching to knit a cardigan lately, and I knew this yarn would be the perfect opportunity to do that! I haven’t knitted a garment in several years, but if you would like to stay updated on my progress be sure to follow me on Instagram!

The Details
Below are some of the quick details about this lovely yarn!
- Sport weight yarn
- 70% Alpaca, 30% Mulberry Silk
- 50 grams (182 yards) per skein
- 30 gorgeous colors (some of my favorites include Dakar Dust, Arctic Lichen, Marrakech)
- Regular price is $13.50 per skein, but it is currently apart of Hobbii’s Black Friday Sale and it is $8.50 per skein (that’s 37% off!)
Because I typically crochet with heavier yarn weights, I only wish this yarn came in more weights to truly make the possibilities endless. But regardless of the weight, over all this is some of the softest and dreamiest yarns I have ever worked with, and I can’t wait to finish my cozy cardigan!
Thank you to Hobbii for providing the yarn for this review, all opinions are my own.
