The Harbor Tote is my most used crochet bag. I really focused on designing an insanely durable bag that could carry a lot of weight without significant stretching. You hold two strands of yarn together throughout the entire pattern, the base is doubled, and the leather handles minimize the stretching. If you need a durable bag, this is the one for you!

Don’t Mesh With Me Bag
I felt like it wouldn’t be a proper tote bag list, without a mesh market bag. In my opinion, these mesh market bags are one of the most iconic crochet projects. I love this specific design by MJ Off the Hook as it nods towards the popular mesh bags, but its quite different than the other ones out there!

I have been obsessed with this tote ever since Delia Creates released this pattern. It’s rustic, sturdy, and quick to work up! I love the use of a wool blend yarn, as it differentiates the look from most bags that are made out of cotton yarn.
