In my opinion, Autumn is the most magical time of the year. The crisp weather, cozy layers and activities, and the vibrant colors in nature, all create a memorable and cozy season! In this blogpost, I’m sharing my simple fall bucket list and they ways I want to intentionally embrace autumn!

If you have been following me for any number of time, you will know my deep love for Autumn. I adore the cooler weather, cozy sweaters, pumpkin spice, and the turning in nature. Every year I vow myself to make the most of my favorite season, and every year I’m always a little disappointed in myself for getting caught up in my daily routine and the general busyness of life. As the next year rolls around I tell myself it’ll be different, but it never is. However, this year IS going to be the year that is different!
You may be asking, how do I know that this year will be different? Instead of maximizing the season and making the most of every moment (a goal I had in the past), I am striving to simplify the season – appreciating and taking in the small moments of the season. I committed myself to one festive activity each week, a few are larger, but some activities are quite simple.

My Autumn Bucket List
Here is my list of simple activities I want to accomplish over the next few months!
- Listen to the 3rd Harry Potter book: I started the tradition last year of listening to a Harry Potter book every October! It’s lowkey a new favorite tradition!
- Attend a Pumpkin Festival: This is probably the biggest activity on the list I can barely handle my excitement!
- Bake the Pillsbury Pumpkin Cookies: Simple, yet so festive
- Read a spooky/autumnal book: I’m not sure what book I’ll read, but it will most likely be some sort of thriller.
- Watch a Harry Potter Movie: Not much more needs to be said haha
- Enjoy an Autumnal Feast: My sister and I have an idea to put together a beautiful and festive autumnal meal!
- Order of Pumpkin Spice Latte: Again simple, yet extremely cozy festive
- Visit a local bookstore: There is an independently owned bookstore relatively close to my house that I’ve only been to once like 8 years ago. I feel like autumn is the perfect time to explore a local coffee shop and pick up a cozy autumnal read.
